Join us for a group activity evening where we will be making super handy traveling hexi pouches perfect for EPP projects on the go!
This pouch is only 4 inches square when closed so will easily fit into a pocket or handbag. It has storage space for 2 1/2 inch fabric squares and hexi-card templates, and a spare pocket for joined hexis.
With the needle case, thread, thread cutter and needle threader all being attached there is no need for scissors and nothing will get lost!
Ideal for taking with you on any day trips and vacations this summer and you should also leave the evening with a good supply of charm squares too, sure to get you started!
Supplies & Preparation
For this project you will need to bring:
Sewing Machine and Basic Sewing Kit (including rotary cutter and mat).
Fabric: This project can be made from a single Fat Quarter!
If you’d like to mix and match to create a pouch like the photos please bring a small selection of coordinating fabrics.
Optional: If you would prefer a button closure rather than a tie-closure please bring a small (approx. 1/2 inch diameter) coordinating button.
We will provide everything else: wadding, press stud, felt, fabric stiffener, embroidery floss and needle threader!
Thread cutters will also be available for a £1 contribution
No pre-cutting required: All instructions will be given on the evening.
