Meeting

Leah is a textile artist who designs and prints her own fabrics and produces stunning, abstract art quilts inspired by urban landscapes and the effect of place on emotional and mental well-being.

She has published several books on printing techniques and has exhibited widely over a number of years, her latest being a solo exhibition entitled ‘Beneath our feet’ that ran for the first 5 months of 2024 at Salford Museum and Art Gallery.

Her ruins series is inspired by what happens to buildings and cities when they are abandoned and some of her inspiration will be very familiar to a Staffordshire audience.
